So the question is how to quickly relax a patient? Using Craniosacral therapy! During the 1-day workshop at Serenora you will learn how to help your clients relax by using simple Craniosacral techniques. You will also learn to use (arm) techniques which you can apply in old, terminal or comatose patients.

During the workshop you will learn these techniques and you will combine theory with practice. In addition, you'll learn to become more sensitive and to relax yourself more deeply in a very short period of time. This will make you more confident and more effective. Not only will your clients relax faster, you will also develop the skill to do this for every client you will work with.

Question: I would like to know if the workshop is suitable for me. I am not a therapist, but I do have experience with seat massage and Reiki.

Answer: You do not have to be an established therapist! I sometimes work with construction workers, warehouse workers, stewards and people who work in the ICT industry, who want to develop their sensitivity skills, but are not used to work on a therapeutic basis. When they participate in the workshop, they don't have the slightest idea on how to handle a subject's response to treatment. I usually advise them to apply their touching skills in another field first.

The workshop methodology: When the workshop starts in the morning, you will first get a thorough and understandable explanation of the technique and applications. Following, we will put this into practice by performing treatment on your fellow participants and undergoing treatment yourself. Finally, you will be welcomed in the Wellness Center of the "De Rosep" estate (inclusive).

I work with small groups of 6-15 persons. This way I can give maximum attention to each participant. You will learn the basic principles of the Craniosacral techniques by putting them into practice immediately. At the end of the day you will receive a certificate as proof of participation. You will also take home an exhaustive reference book.

The theoretic part of the workshop will be presented in clearly understandable English. We use a beautiful hand-out that you may have a look at beforehand. I will explain everything step by step, allowing every participant to fully understand and experience it.

This workshop is accredited by many professional associations such as the Dutch VNT (Dutch Association for Natural Medical Therapists), LVNG (National Association of Natural Health), BvK (Kinesiology Federation), NBVH (National Association of Hypnotherapists), NVPTea (Association for Body PsychoTherpy), KATA (Dutch Chair Massage Association) etc. If you are a registered therapist, in most cases this workshop can serve as a post-graduate and/or refresher course or course credits. Contact your own professional association to see if you will get credits for this workshop.
